Looking to develop your community dietetic skills in an outstanding team?

First Dietitians are looking for an autonomous and independent dietitian to join our Band 5 rotation and contribute to the dietetic services delivered across east Surrey, Crawley and Horsham.

You will join our friendly team of 16 dietitians and 2 administrators managing a diverse caseload of patients with varied health needs, working as part of the multi-disciplinary team alongside patients, carers, and their families.

This rotational post covers both adults and children’s dietetics.

The role is dynamic and you will use your dietetic skills and knowledge: assessing, planning, and implementing treatment and delivering dietetic interventions in a variety of settings including community hospitals, nursing and care homes, clinics and patients’ own homes.

People you are likely to treat include those with long-term conditions and stroke, or requiring advice for oral nutrition support, weight management, fussy eating, allergy, IBS, gastrointestinal issues, and enteral feeding. This list is not exhaustive as it is anticipated that all First Dietitians support each other and the population we cover utilising our general dietetic knowledge and skills as required.

You will supervise and support our student dietitians. You will also participate in our team’s audit programme and policy and resource development for the team and organisation.
