Situated at Caterham Dene Community Hospital the Minor Injury Unit is a Nurse-led unit, providing a service for the treatment of patients presenting with minor injuries and minor medical conditions.
The Unit serves the residents of Caterham and the surrounding areas, the service is for patients aged 18 years and over. The MIU runs from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The MIU team are a small friendly team with the single goal of ensuring the best outcomes for our patients

The service is constantly developing, in line with changes in local and national healthcare provision and as such we are looking for a forward- thinking, competent, and caring Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic Practitioner with the skills and experience needed for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients within a community setting. The successful applicant will also have an open mind to service development and change management.

We were recently awarded outstanding by the CQC and Our friends and Family Test results are outstanding. The service is held in very high esteem by the local community.
