Jon has over 30 years health and social care experience, almost exclusively in community and primary care settings.
After qualifying as a nurse he specialised in end of life care and then health promotion. He was the health lead for the Brighton & Hove Children and Young People Trust before holding a number of operational and commissioning Director level roles in London NHS Trusts and more recently a Social Enterprise in Sussex.
Jon has a particular interest in and passion for shared decision making at community, organisational and patient levels and strives to achieve this in his approach to leadership. He believes that First Community, as a staff owned health Community Interest Companies is uniquely placed to champion this approach within health and social care.
