What we do

Physiotherapy services in East Surrey

Our team of specialist physiotherapists provide expert treatment and guidance to rehabilitate and re-educate people with a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders.

The aim is to restore the patient’s function, activity and independence as well as to prevent further injury/illness. Patients are expected to undertake an appropriate programme of home exercises, which forms an integral part of the rehabilitation process.

We assess, diagnose and treat patients, from the age of 16 onwards, with many different conditions including:

What is Pelvic Obstetric & Gynaecological Physiotherapy?

This is a specialist area of physiotherapy, we treat a wide range of conditions including:

Problems with continence (in both men and women)

  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Pelvic pain (in both men and women)
  • Low back pain and pelvic girdle pain in pregnancy
  •  Post-natal musculoskeletal conditions such as separation of the tummy muscles (Diastesis)
  • Perineal tear following childbirth.

Our physiotherapy clinics

We run physiotherapy clinics at three sites including, East Surrey Hospital, Oxted Therapies Unit and Caterham Dene Hospital. We have access to specialist gym equipment to help with your rehabilitation.

Parking

All clinics have parking facilities; however there is a charge for this at East Surrey Hospital. Please allow plenty of time for parking as space can be limited at times.
