During September a number of First Community staff took part in the Virtual Run Reigate fundraising event to raise money for their partners Stripey Stork.
The Surrey based charity collect donations of toys, clothes and other essential items for babies and children and, after checking they meet current UK safety standards, rehome them with local families experiencing hardship.
As we prepare to enter a second national lockdown, First Community is reminding the public all services remain open and will continue to operate as usual.

The Surrey Virtual Wellbeing Hub is a singular place where you can view and access a range of online sessions and activities to support your mental health and wellbeing during Covid-19 and beyond.
Partnering with third sector providers including The Richmond Fellowship, Catalyst, the Mary Frances Trust, Age UK Surrey and Surrey Coalition of Disabled People, any Surrey resident can now easily access local support online and from the comfort of their own home. You can also refer another person to this service if they require support.
Getting the flu vaccination is a great way of protecting yourself from flu this winter, especially for those who are at a greater risk of developing potentially serious complications. It's also the most effective way of reducing the spread of the virus with those we come into contact with, helping ensure Surrey residents stay fit and well this winter.
