Registered dietitians are the only qualified health professionals that assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems at an individual and wider public health level. Uniquely, dietitians use the most up-to-date public health and scientific research on food, health and disease to enable you to make appropriate lifestyle and food choices.
Our team works across east Surrey to assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems. The service supports people with evidence based nutritional advice and signposting to local services and support networks.
They offer virtual and face-to-face clinic appointments for people with a variety of different conditions, home visits, support for local prisons, care homes and GP practices.
If you have a GP in east Surrey and would like to be referred to a dietitian, please discuss this with your GP or other health care professional.
If you are a health care professional, our referral forms are available on SystmOne or you can contact our administration team at fchc.firstdietitians@nhs.net to request one.
Our services are delivered across east Surrey in hospitals or virtually via accuRx.
