First Community Health and Care Respiratory service retains national accreditation
First Community is delighted to announce that its community Respiratory Service has successfully retained its accreditation through the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services Accreditation Scheme (PRSAS) following its annual review.
The accreditation renewal recognises that the service continues to meet the rigorous standards required by PRSAS, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based respiratory care for people living with long-term respiratory conditions across east Surrey.
The successful review confirms that the service has met the accreditation standards and that its PRSAS accreditation has been renewed for a further year.
Pulmonary rehabilitation plays a vital role in improving the quality of life for people with chronic respiratory conditions, helping individuals to manage symptoms, improve physical fitness, and maintain independence. The renewed accreditation reflects the dedication, expertise and collaborative approach of the multidisciplinary team working within the east Surrey Community Respiratory Service.
