First Community welcome a new Non Executive Director
On 1 June 2025 Larry Koyama joined First Community as a Non-Executive Director (NED) and Chair of the Quality Committee, where he will support the Board in providing oversight and assurance to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care.
With over 16 years of experience spanning clinical practice, healthcare transformation, and innovation, Larry brings a deep understanding of both front-line delivery and strategic improvement.
A registered physiotherapist, Larry began his NHS career in musculoskeletal services, progressing to advanced clinical and leadership roles. As a Darzi Fellow in Clinical Leadership, he led major service redesign programmes to improve integration between community and hospital care.
