First Community is delighted to publish its Quality Account for 2025/26.

The report outlines the quality of the NHS health and care services provided by First Community across east Surrey and West Sussex. The quality of services is measured in a number of ways including looking at patient safety, the effectiveness of treatments patients receive and by evaluating patient feedback about care and experiences. 

In May 2026, First Community successfully passed its annual website accessibility audit, highlighting its commitment to inclusive digital services.

At 88 years old, Anna's recovery journey highlights the powerful impact of determination, collaborative working, and access to the right rehabilitation at the right time.

First Community provides NHS healthcare services across east Surrey, which is quite a significant geographical footprint with lots of challenging country roads. When Lisa Croggon, a specialist physiotherapist, joined First Community she wanted to travel by bike to provide her community physiotherapy service.

A road closure is currently in place in Church Road, Caterham which is expected to be in place until 17 April.
