Tim Hodgetts joined First Community on 13 April 2026 as Director of Clinical Services.
Tim is a registered nurse and experienced senior healthcare leader with a strong track record of delivering transformation across complex health and social care systems. Over the course of his career he has held a number of senior leadership roles across the NHS, local government and the charitable sector, where he has led large multidisciplinary teams, overseen significant service portfolios and been responsible for the delivery of safe, high-quality and innovative services for diverse communities.
Throughout his career Tim has led major service improvement and transformation programmes, strengthened governance and quality frameworks, and worked in partnership with system partners to develop integrated models of care. He is particularly passionate about empowering clinical teams, building strong organisational cultures and ensuring services are designed around the needs of the people and communities they support.
Tim brings extensive experience in operational leadership, clinical governance and service development, and is very much looking forward to joining First Community to work alongside colleagues and partners to continue delivering high-quality community services and developing outstanding care for local communities.
Outside of his professional role, Tim values maintaining balance and perspective through a number of personal interests. He particularly enjoys travelling and exploring new places and cultures, reading, and playing tennis whenever he gets the chance. These interests reflect his curiosity, energy and appreciation for new experiences, all of which he brings into his personal and professional life.
