First Community have appointed Sarah Tomkins to be their new Chief Executive Officer. Sarah (pictured) is currently employed by CSH Surrey where she has been working as the Director of Adult Services.
Announcing the appointment, Florence Barras, Chair of the Board said “Sarah’s career path is a real inspiration, spanning some thirty years in healthcare from her early days as a health care assistant.
"The values, motivation and commitment Sarah has demonstrated will ensure First Community executes our strategic ambition to deliver first rate care, first rate value and first rate people to the highest standards.
"Sarah is excited to further develop our services and partnerships to deliver improved health outcomes for our patients.
"Many of our colleagues and partners have established working relationships with Sarah and we will ensure Sarah has the opportunity to meet everyone at First Community. I know Sarah will be warmly welcomed to First Community and she is very excited to meet everyone here.”
Sarah will replace existing Chief Executive Officer, Sarah Billiald who is leaving on 30 September after six successful years at First Community.
Sarah will be taking up her new role at First Community on 1 December 2022. Details of any interim arrangements will be confirmed in due course.
