

The team have a particular focus on long-term conditions such as stroke, parkinson's, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease.
Referrals can be received from GPs, other speech and language therapists and other health and social care professionals. Self-referrals can be accepted in certain circumstances.

We are not currently commissioned to see patients with dysphonia (voice disorders), with head and neck cancer or a primary mental health diagnosis. Voice patients should be referred by an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) consultant to Sussex and Surrey Healthcare NHS Trust Speech and language therapists.
