Children aged 5 plus can now be seen at our Caterham Dene Minor Injury Unit (MIU) for injuries such as sprains, cuts and grazes.

The service is available 7 days per week from 8am - 8pm. You do not need an appointment; however, you are advised to book by calling NHS 111 before you travel to ensure you're directed to the most appropriate service for you.

Parents / carers for children aged 2 plus can make an urgent appointment to see a GP at the MIU by calling NHS 111 for minor illnesses including coughs and colds, sore throats, rashes, and feverish illnesses. This service is available 7 days per week from 8am - 8pm, however it is not an alternative to routine GP appointments.

Parents / carers for children under 2 should continue to contact their GP service as normal or use NHS 111.

This is not an emergency care service. In an emergency, as with adults, please dial 999 or 111.
