First Community launch new webpages to support adults and children with dietary and nutritional issues

First Community has launched new webpages offering clear, practical information and self-help resources for adults and children who need support with their diet or nutrition.
The newly developed online sections aim to improve access to trusted nutritional guidance for individuals, families, and carers across east Surrey and West Sussex, helping them manage common dietary concerns more easily. You can view them here: www.firstcommunityhealthcare.co.uk/dietitians
The pages are split into sections covering a broad range of topics including, healthy eating and weight management, fussy eating and complex feeding advice for children and nutritional support for medical conditions such as diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and coeliac disease.
The self-help materials, developed by First Community's dietitians, are designed to empower people to make informed decisions about their health and contain leaflets, tips on meal planning, and links to recommended apps and national resources. The pages are split into adult and children's services, making it easy to find age-appropriate and condition-specific information.
Kate Hampshire-Jones, Dietetic Service Lead is delighted to launch the new online resources and said, "Good nutrition is crucial for overall health and wellbeing, and we want to make it easier for our community to access expert-led guidance without needing to wait for an appointment.
"These webpages provide people with reliable tools that they can use straight away, whether they're managing a diagnosis, supporting a child with feeding difficulties, or just looking to better understand their nutritional needs."
The webpages support First Community's wider approach to community-based care, helping people stay informed and confident between or ahead of appointments.
