- We are currently a team of seven Speech and Language Therapists providing assessment and therapy to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties in the East Surrey Area.
- Our specialities include dementia, dysphagia (swallowing), stammering, Parkinson's including Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT)
- We are based at East Surrey Hospital and Oxted Therapies Unit.
- We also see patients as part of the CSNRT (Community Stroke Neuro Rehabilitation Team) when patients require intensive rehabilitation following a stroke
- We see patients in clinic, their own homes, nursing/residential homes, and on the ward at Caterham Dene Hospital.
- Individual and/or group therapy may be offered to patients.
- We take part in and/or run a number of initiatives including: Social Communication Therapy Group, Motor Neurone Disease Forum, Conversation Partner Scheme, Loud Crowd support group, Parkinson’s Communication Group, and Stammering Therapy Group.
